Philip Eve - Tenor
Concert Experience and Repertoire

Philip started his concert career as an amateur chorister with the Brighton Festival Chorus whilst he was an undergraduate at Sussex University. After graduating, his early solo opportunities included Dvorak Mass in D with the Sussex University Choir and Orchestra under Laszlo Heltay, and Bach Cantata No 8 with the University Chamber Choir under John Birch. He remained a member of the Brighton Festival Chorus from 1973 to 1981.

A 10 year period ensued when Philip followed a career in business, and continued to sing with choirs such as the Tallis Chamber Choir and Thomas Tallis Society under the direction of Philip Simms.

In 1988 he made his professional solo debut in Haydn Missa in honorem Sancti Nicolai with Guy Protheroe's English Chamber Choir at St John's, Smith Square.
